Under 15’s report v st clement

U15s v St Clement……………….it is a cruel game

The first match played under a new formation………with so many players unavailable due to egg chasing duties it may have seemed a strange time to change, but not a bit. A reflection of the depth in squad that is being developed. St Peter rose to the occasion and played some good attractive football kept their discipline and where able to prevent St Clements from dominating the midfield.

Stephen and Johnny were rocks at the back all afternoon.   The midfield combined well with some great one touch football supported by the tireless running of the wingers.  St Peters would have had more chances at goal had it not been for the St Clements offside trap. Unfortunately St Peter where unable to make their superior team performance pay and where finally undone by three St Clement second half goals, two in the last fifteen minutes and one in last 30 seconds, all orchestrated by two top quality players.

A special thanks to Joshua Jehan for a fantastic performance and remaining strong under some aggressive play.

Please remember your raffle tickets on Wednesday.
