Sponsored by Jacksons the Academy Lead Sponsor
All players, parents and coaches are asked to note in the diary, that the end of
the season ‘Jacksons’ awards presentations will be held at the Club, Rue Des
Vigne, adjoining the club lounge, on Friday 11 th June. Food and soft drinks
will be served from 6:15pm prior to the commencement of the awards
ceremony at 7pm and the bar will be open for adults attending.
This is always an exciting evening when we look at the Academy achievements
and recognise the outstanding talents that we have within our Academy
teams. Our new Academy Director of Football, Peter Vincenti will be helping
to present the awards and this will be a good opportunity for our young
players to meet this famous Jersey ex professional who played over 400
games including 3 Wembley appearances.
We anticipate the normal large number of persons attending and to assist with
the catering for this event it would be appreciated if each family would please
e-mail Mary Pack, our Academy Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org with the family
name and the numbers, planning to attend. This is very important as we
would like to ensure that we have enough food for all but do not waste time
and money preparing too much.
There will not be any charge for the buffet but we will be running a raffle and
we would ask those attending to please participate generously as this will help
to allay the cost of providing the food. The raffle tickets will cost just £5 for 5
strips and 11 for £10
The raffle draw will be made on the evening after thepresentation.
If anyone is able to donate a prize for the raffle, you can be sure it will be
graciously received. Please contact Mary Pack email@example.com or Brian Foulser
Please make every effort to attend as it is the presence of so many parents and
family members that makes this such a special evening for our young players.
It is always an evening of drama with a few surprises along the way. A strong
gathering will enable us to show our generous sponsors, Jacksons, that their
vital support of the Academy is appreciated and recognised by all those
associated with the Club.
We trust that things continue to improve with regards to the health
precautions and if there is any change to the direction that things are
proceeding we will update you before the evening. We look forward to
welcoming you to another exciting evening at our prestigious Academy
Awards Night and ask you to please make every effort to attend.
