The club’s website has become an integral part of St Peter FC communications and we hope that you have benefitted from the news and info we post here regularly?
Our current web admin Tania has unfortunately had to step down and therefore a vacancy has arisen. Could you be the person to help out? We really hope so! This is a great opportunity to contribute to the club without having to don a tracksuit and football boots!
What’s involved: adding updates to the site and Facebook from time to time and selecting banners for different pages.
Where does the info come from: the committee and coaches will email you updates, although they can also add these themselves to the website directly. It’s ideal though to have a central admin who can oversee all online activity. Which is why we need you!
Is it hard? No, and full training will be provided. Its pretty straight forward once you have been shown.
Do I need to be able to create banners etc myself? Ideally yes but it is not essential.
Interested? If so please email email@example.com.
The popularity of the Everton week goes from strength to strength. This year’s event is now SOLD OUT! Thanks to Mike Horman for all the admin work done to date. Looking forward to this year’s event already!

St Peter’s under 11 team took part in the Jersey Games for the second year in a row and achieved a convincing set of result which propelled them to the trophy!
Coach Aaron Peel’s match report…
Our first game was v Kings Mac Lions who we beat 5-0 (Ryan Peel 5). Next we played league rivals ID Elite who we beat 1-0 (Ryan Peel).
Next game we played English team Newcastle-under-Lyme and beat them 3-0 (Miguel Carvalho 2, George Le Quesne). In the Final group game v Kings Mac Tigers we won 5-0 (Ryan Peel, Tom Proffitt, Miguel Carvalho, Finn Hougardy and Jakob Stanton) which set us up for the final against ID Elite.
We were too strong for ID and 2 goals in the first half settled the game. Finn went on a brilliant solo run, beating 3 people and chipped the keeper from the edge of the area for a delightful goal. Tom then floated a lovely cross into the area and Ryan rose up to head into the goal for a fairly easy 2-0 win.
All games were 18 minutes long (9 per half). I believe the visiting sides were UK schools and ID Elite have something to do with the website. A great day out for St Peters and we put up the marquee.
Well done to all the players, a great day for all!
St Peter F.C. Academy and Gillingham F.C. are proud and delighted to announce that they have agreed to form an Academy Partnership Agreement to develop a relationship surrounding the development of players and coaches to the mutual benefit of both parties. To the best of our knowledge this is the first such formal agreement between a Channel Island Club and a professional Club.
The contract means that Gillingham F.C. will provide at least two coaches to deliver sessions to St Peter F.C. players and coaching staff, bi-annually for a week to ten days on each occasion. Gillingham will also send coaches to St Peter’s at various intervals to observe and offer advice on work practices at both a senior and youth level.
- Up to three St Peter Academy players will attend the Gillingham Academy for one week to train alongside reciprocal squads three to four times per year. The older players (15+) will be targeted for assessment during pre-season months, allowing opportunity for game time with the Gillingham youth squad.
- St Peter F.C. will be invited to participate in all Gillingham F.C. Academy and Community trust tournaments / festivals. Competitive fixtures between both Clubs at varying age groups will be organised at both Gillingham and on occasions, in Jersey.
- St Peter F.C. Academy coaching staff will be invited to spend time at Gillingham F.C. observing work practices at both senior and youth levels.
- St Peter F.C. has also agreed to offer Gillingham FC senior, youth squads and development squads the opportunity to use the St Peter F.C. facilities as a training camp. During such occasions Gillingham has offered to run a fun day and to include school visits.
Darren Hare Head of the Gillingham Academy said:
“Having worked with the St Peter F.C. Academy’s Under 16 squad we were favourably impressed with the standard. By working more closely with these players it gives us the opportunity to recruit players into our youth programme. The link also provides us with the opportunity to take our own young players `abroad` to experience a tour environment. Hopefully the link with St Peter F.C. will also help to create a favourable awareness and support for Gillingham F.C. through its helpful and creative association with a progressive Channel Island Club”.
St Peter F.C. Academy Chairman Brian Foulser said:
“This is fantastic opportunity for our Academy to benefit from the experience, knowledge and knowhow of a high calibre professional coaching team and a well structured Club. It will provide our young players with the opportunity to experience Elite Player Performance and to understand the standard and commitment that they will need to make if they aspire to a professional career in football. It also provides our elite players with a realistic pathway into the professional game. Our partnership with Gillingham provides our Academy including our coaching staff with a benchmark for performance plus the guidance and means to raise our standards to the highest level”.
St Peter FC Academy is proud to announce they are once again hosting the 12th Annual Everton FC Summer Coaching Camp which will take place at St Peter FC during the first week in August, Monday 1st until Friday 5th.
This popular event involving the English Premiership giants Everton FC has been a total sell out for the past five seasons and nearly half of the 160 available places have already been taken.
To avoid being disappointed we would urge you to reserve your place without delay. The cost for the full week Monday to Friday is unchanged at £100 for St Peter FC registered players and just £115 for all non St Peter FC players. To reserve your place please download an Everton FC Summer Soccer week registration form, by clicking below, complete all the details and forward the form together with a cheque for the appropriate amount to Mike Horman, No 2 Le Carre, Landscape Grove, Mont Cochon, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3JU.
For those that haven’t attended before, the week is a football coaching fun week run by 8 experienced Everton FC Community coaching staff. The camp is for boys and girls aged 5 to 15 who will participate in sessions throughout the day from 9am until 3 pm. The aim is to help develop football skills under the guidance of English Premiership Coaches of the highest standard and to foster teamwork and enhance communication skills both on and off the pitch. The young participants should be checked in by 8.45am each morning and checked out and collected from 3:15pm daily. Each child should come with a packed lunch and adequate water. However the cafeteria kiosk will be open throughout to enable any top up refreshments to be purchased.
Everton in the Community travel the globe helping to coach players from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. As would be expected their training camps are enormously popular. We are most encouraged to be told by the Everton coaching team that August at St Peter FC in Jersey is by far and away their most popular venue and is the largest single event they manage.
We look forward to another great learning fun week with the superb Everton Coaching Team but please book early to avoid disappointment as we are strictly limited to 160 places.

St Peter Football Club president Tom Du Feu today announced that following a meeting and by mutual agreement the senior manager Rob Cameron and his assistant Colin Pack have stepped down from the position.
Gary Freeman will take up the role of caretaker manager and will be naming his management team in due course.
St Peter Football Club wish to place on record our sincere thanks to Rob Cameron and Colin Pack for their work and management role for the past two years and look forward to them taking up other important positions within the club in the near future.
As reported in the national press, ex-St Peter FC player Peter Vincenti for the second year running played a pivotal role in an FA Cup Giant Killing, this time against two times European Cup winners Nottingham Forest FC!
Peter’s club Rochdale United FC of League 1 won the game 1-0 thanks to a penalty from the the big man himself. The result has heaped pressure on Forest and legendary manager Stuart Pearce but what a day for Rochdale and Peter Vincenti.
Great result, and shows all St Peter FC Academy players and youth players from other clubs, if you have the talent and work as hard as you can, it is possible to hit the heights of professional football.
Well done Peter, you have made the club proud!
