Congratulations to all Academy Players and Coaches

For the second week running all Academy teams remained unbeaten with some outstanding team and individual performances along the way. Following on from winning all the Academy matches that we played we drew one and won all of the others

On Sunday the 22nd November

The Under 18’s defeated previously undefeated league leaders Jersey Wanderers 5-1 with goals from Jake Prince 2 , Jake Huckerby, Joe Tilstone and Hugo Viera. Jake Prince is fire at the moment following on his hat-trick last time out with another duo.

The Under 15’s also beat top of the table Jersey Wanderers by 3-2 with goals from Dan de la Perrelle 2 and Alfonso Pires. Dan’s first goal was worthy of goal of the season in any competition with a 30 yard strike into the top corner that went like a bullet. The victory was more comfortable than it would appear as St Peter were 3-0 up until the last quarter of the game.

The Under 13 Red team drew 2-2 away to Grouville A team with two goals from Josh Abbot.
The Under 13 White team won our only home match of the day 4-2 against St Clements with another pair from Sean Adkins 2, and singles from Henry Dawson and Mitchell Rogers.

The Under 11 Red team beat Grouville 2-1 with goals from Sam Harvey and Scott le Moucheux

The Under 11 White team won 3-2 away to Trinity with goals from Evan de la Cour, Bruno Neubauer and Renato Oliveira.

We have now had two consecutive weeks where we have drawn one game and won all the others. The most important gain has been the level of the performance which I understand has been generally to a very much higher standard. The coaching team deserve every credit but so do the players who have shown a renewed level of commitment and resolve. From what I have seen there is more evidence that we are now playing as a team and working hard for each other. Keep up the good work, keep learning, take on board what your coaches are endeavouring to impart and we can aim to go from strength to strength and gain some more memorable performances and wins along the way.

Well done to you all you are entitled to take pride in your performances.
