New Year Message

To All players, parents, coaches and supporters

As we enter another New Year we can look back with pride at the fortunes of the Academy over the past year.

We remain competitive at all age groups with an increasing number of talented young footballers emerging.

Our senior Academy team, our under 18 squad, has won all of their matches to-date, which includes the league, cups and of course for the first time this season, the Kent FA Under 18 Youth Cup. The quarter final of the latter takes place on the 27th January. This years squad is following in the footsteps of 4 very good St Peter FC Under 18 teams as we have won everything including the Channel Island Championship for each of the past 4 seasons. However this years squad promises to be the best yet and they of course face the additional challenge of competing in the prestigious Kent FA Youth Cup. From the 64 teams who entered the competition we are now down to the final 8.

As we enter the second half of the season let us set ourselves the goal of making continuous improvement.

I must congratulate the entire Academy for the way they have conducted themselves. Once again we have set the standard for others to follow.

When you wear the St Peter FC shirt, wear it with pride. 2019 is the Centenary year of this fine club and it would be nice to finish this special season in style.

I would. Like to take this opportunity to wish all of you, a happy, healthy and successful year ahead. I thank you for your superb support and commitment to St Peter FC and I look forward to seeing our exciting young talent in action and taking their abilities to the next level in the next few months.

Best wishes

Brian Foulser

Chairman St Peter FC Academy
