This is just to update you in regard to your application to the Everton week which is being held from Monday 1st August to Friday 5thAugust from 8.30am to 3.15pm each day of the week and to confirm to you that it is completely full
There are a few points that need to be brought to your attention however in relation to approaching St Peter FC to ensure there is a smooth traffic flow into and out of our Ground
CAN YOU PLEASE TRY AND CAR SHARE IF POSSIBLE AND WHEN APPROACHING OUR ENTRANCE IN LA RUE DES VIGNES PLEASE ENSURE YOU COME IN FROM THE ST PETER MAIN ROAD JUNCTION JUST BEFORE THE CO-OP GARAGE AND NOT TURN IN FROM THE AIRPORT ROAD
WHEN LEAVING OUR GROUND WE ASK THAT YOU TURN RIGHT WHICH WILL TAKE YOU ONTO THE AIRPORT ROAD
THIS IS TO ENSURE A GOOD TRAFFIC FLOW FOR YOURSELVES ,OUR NEIGHBOURS AND PLEASE DO CONTINUE THIS METHOD FOR THE WHOLE WEEK
ONCE AT ST PETER PLEASE PARK CONSIDERATELY AND BEWARE OF ANY PEDESTRIANS AS IT WILL OBVIOUSLY BE VERY BUSY AT ARRIVAL AND DEPARTING TIMES
ALSO ENSURE EVERY PLAYER IS CHECKED IN AND CHECKED OUT BY AN ADULT WITH THE ST PETER STAFF OVERSEEING THE WEEK THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT
THE CHECK IN WILL BE OPEN FROM 8.30AM IN THE MORNING AND COLLECTION WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 3.15PM
ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON WE ANTICIPATE THE CARPARKS BEING FULL SO SOME OF YOU MAY BE DIVERTED TO PARK AT THE FAR END OF THE PITCH VIA RUE DES LANDES WHICH IS OPPOSITE THE RUGBY CLUB.
We are reiterating some other very important points
BELONGINGS-Please note the club does not take any responsibility for the loss of any personal belongings or items during this training week as it is up to the individual to look after their own items/belongings-
MEDICAL-If there are any medical issues that the coaches need to made aware of during the week can this please be brought to the attention of the head coach on the first day
RESPECT-Players of all ages are expected to behave themselves whilst on the week and respect all others be it other players coaches staff etc.
GRIEVANCES- (Which have been very few since we started the week)If you have any grievances please can you speak to the head coach so that it can be resolved and dealt with if needs be
TRASH -There will be bins placed around the club grounds and we therefore please request that each player clears up his/her own rubbish by placing it in the relevant bin
There will be a presentation session on Friday afternoon starting approximately 2pm and all parents, grandparents are welcome to come up and support it
Finally for those that haven’t attended before, the week is a football coaching fun week run by 8 experienced Everton FC Community coaching staff. The camp is for boys and girls aged 5 to 15 who will participate in sessions throughout the day from 9am until 3 pm. The aim is to help develop football skills under the guidance of English Premiership Coaches of the highest standard and to foster teamwork and enhance communication skills both on and off the pitch. The young participants should be checked in by 8.45am each morning and checked out and collected from 3:15pm daily.
Each child should come with a packed lunch, adequate water sun block and be dressed for the weather
However the cafeteria kiosk will be open throughout to enable any top up refreshments to be purchased.
Everton in the Community travel the globe helping to coach players from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. As would be expected their training camps are enormously popular. We are most encouraged to be told by the Everton coaching team that August at St Peter FC in Jersey is by far and away their most popular venue and is the largest single event they manage.
Very finally we all hope that all the players and parents enjoy the week and that St Peter are planning to hold it again sometime in 2017
