St Peter FC Academy is delighted to announce it will be hosting the 13th Annual Everton FC Summer Coaching Camp which will take place at St Peter FC commencing on 31st July until Friday 4th August 2017.

This popular event involving the coaching team from English Premiership giants Everton FC has been a total sell out every year since the third season and several of the 160 available places have already been taken for this year.

To avoid being disappointed we would urge anyone interested to reserve their place without delay. The cost for the full week Monday to Friday remains unchanged for the third consecutive year at £115 with a discount of £15 applied to all registered St Peter FC Academy players. To reserve your place please go to the St Peters FC Academy web site stpeterfc.com   click on academy, locate` Everton FC Summer Soccer week`  and download a registration form by clicking below the article where advised.  Complete all the details and forward the form together with a cheque for the appropriate amount to Mike Horman, No 2 Le Carre, Landscape Grove, Mont Cochon, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3JU.

For those that haven’t attended before, the week is a football coaching week, with lots of fun along the way, run by 8 experienced Everton FC Community coaching staff. The camp is for boys and girls aged 5 to 15 who will participate in sessions throughout the day from 9 am until 3 pm. The aim is to help develop football skills under the guidance of English Premiership Club Coaches of the highest standard, to foster teamwork and enhance communication skills both on and off the pitch. The young participants should be checked in by 8.45 am each morning and checked out and collected from 3:15pm daily. Each child should come with a packed lunch and adequate water. However the cafeteria kiosk will be open throughout to enable any top up refreshments to be purchased.

Everton in the Community travel the globe helping to coach players from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. They have established a massive reputation and as would be expected, their training camps are enormously popular.  We are most encouraged to be told by the Everton coaching team that August at St Peter FC in Jersey is by far and away the event they enjoy attending above all others and is their most popular venue. We are also informed that it is the single largest event they manage. Since the first St Peter/Everton summer camp in 2004 over 2000 young players have enjoyed a fantastic week of learning new skills with plenty of fun along the way. We look forward to another great learning, fun week with the superb Everton Coaching Team.

Please remember to book early to avoid disappointment as we are strictly limited to 160 places.

Press Release: Academy Players Walk On The Hallowed Turf

St-Peter-FC-Academy-Visit-Everton-FC-and-Liverpool-FC---March-2014---022The close bond between the St Peter F.C. Academy and English Premiership giants Everton F.C. was further strengthened last Saturday, (1st March 2014). Seventeen excited Academy players aged 9 to 13 were specially invited to train with Everton coaches and then enjoyed a thrilling match day experience as official flag bearers for the home game against West Ham United F.C.

Everton, who annually visit St Peter F.C. each August for a week-long Summer soccer camp, pulled out all the stops for St Peter’s visit. Firstly the players enjoyed a two hour training session working on passing, movement and team work. Then they travelled to Everton F.C.’s legendary home Goodison Park to represent Everton on the pitch whilst their Premiership heroes walked on to rapturous applause from 38,286 adoring fans.

Having just brushed shoulders with some of the country’s finest players, St Peter F.C.’s youngsters then took to their seats to enjoy an action-packed game which Everton eventually won 1-0.

The Academy would like to extend its gratitude and thanks to Everton for what was a most enjoyable trip supported by funds from lead Academy sponsor the Sanne Group.

Stuart Murphy, who co-organised and ran the trip with Aaron Peel, Debbie Sutherland, Chris Benest and Leslie MacDonald said:

“Having hosted Everton in Jersey each Summer for a decade at our annual soccer camp it was a pleasure to return the compliment and visit one of the oldest, most famous and successful clubs in the world. We enjoyed every minute of the weekend and walking on the hallowed turf of Goodison Park was an experience that neither the boys nor the coaches will ever forget”.

St Peter F.C. has this week published details for their 2014 soccer camp on their website www.stpeterfc.com. Last year was heavily oversubscribed and despite increasing the size of facilities at this year’s event they expect demand to far exceed supply once again for this very popular event. The Academy is therefore advising applicants to register for the event early to avoid disappointment.
