The Big Match In Support Of Children in Crisis

The Big Match

In support of Children in Crisis

The Sanne Group International X1 v St Peter‘s Select X1

Kick off 1-15pm on Sunday 29th November

As everyone will be aware we are totally indebted to the generosity of the Sanne Group who is the lead sponsor of St Peter FC Academy. We are most grateful to them for their valuable and committed support which allows our Academy to flourish and to provide opportunities to our young players that are not available from other clubs.

On Sunday the 29th November we have the opportunity to demonstrate to the Directors, management and employees of the Sanne Group how much we appreciate and value their support for St Peter FC Academy.  We have arranged an intriguing and I am sure it will be an entertaining match between a talented Sanne Group X1 and a St Peter Select X1.  I would ask everyone, coaches, Academy players, parents, senior players, committee members and all club members to support us in ensuring the best possible turn out. Indeed anyone who enjoys the game of football is welcome to join us

The Sanne team will contain two players that were junior players with Bayern Munich a number of ex Island players and our very own James Quinn. Gary Freeman is giving careful consideration to selecting his squad which is likely to involve players from each of our senior teams. There will be a number of other things going on including a raffle with some outstanding prizes. A buffet meal will be provided after the game at £3 per head for all those persons who indicate they will be attending with all the proceeds going to Sanne’s corporate Charity Children in Crisis. Just e-mail:-   or alternatively Mary Pack at  with your name and numbers attending, this will enable us to ensure we cater for the appropriate numbers.

After the Big Match the Norwich v Arsenal game will be shown on the big screens in the Club Lounge, you are welcome to watch that game whilst enjoying your buffet meal and a quiet drink.

I really do urge everyone to make the effort to attend as this is one of the few ways we are able to emphasise our heartfelt thanks to Chief Executive, Dean Godwin, Head of Marketing Matthew Morel and everyone at Sanne for the most generous and welcome support they give to our Club. As a Community Club we have camaraderie and a pride which very few clubs are able to enjoy and I would like to thank everyone in advance for the warm welcome which I am sure we will demonstrate on Sunday 29th November at 1-15pm
