U16 Cup Final…

Dear All,
Next Sunday sees our Under 16s  play ‘Guernsey Sylvans’ in the Eric Amy Cup Final, 1.00pm KO at Springfield. This is the first time the club have made this final as well as winning the Under 16 League for the first time and will be representing not only St. Peter but Jersey in the Under 16 Upton on the 4th May in Guernsey, another first.

This group of players are testament to all the good work going on within our Academy, many of these young men have come through our mini section and are on the threshold of making history for the club. Success doesn’t happen overnight, a structure is now in place and visible signs are that it is working but we must continue to work hard at all levels, to remain focused on producing good players with a positive attitude to the game, we must embrace the principles of the Academy vision and continue to educate our young players with all the tools to be good footballers, respect, fair play, team ethics and desire to attain their full potential through hard work and discipline in a structured and enjoyable environment. We want to win, but not at all costs, I firmly believe winning will be a by product of good teaching.

Your support next Sunday would be much appreciated, it would be great to have a big crowd at Springfield to cheers on our boys. Could all coaches encourage their squads to attend along with parents friends etc.

Dear all, please come and support your academy this success would not happen without all the good work you are doing, it is OUR success.

Hope to see as many as possible at Springfield next week.
Kind regards
