Under 16’s report

St Peter’s u16vs St Clements u16 match report.

Sunday morning the u16 had there first game of the season, The lads come out the blocks slow and was under pressure for the first 10-15mins.
The lads started stringing together some nice passes and playing some nice 1-2 passing, switch play. Not much happened in the first half apart from Jack smashing the cross bar from about 20-25 yards out from a free kick and Jan chipping the ball over the keeper just going inches wide, then Kacper hitting the post from a corner.
Also St Clements had a penalty which they missed.
After a good chat at half time the players came out firing and we took the lead after a nice team play with Ryan slotting the ball in the bottom corner. We stayed on top for most of the second half but St Clement had there chances as well with a few good saves from Dan the keeper.
St Clements received a second penalty which they scored from to bring it to 1-1. The lads kept their heads up and kept on fighting till the end of the match. The final score ended in 1-1.

Well done lads, Train hard and the results will come. #redandwhite #stpeters
